Idugan Entertainment
Idugan Entertainment is a company based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Our goal is to produce films, documentaries, TV shows, music and music videos to promote and preserve Mongolian culture and history domestically and internationally.
Idugan Entertainment believes that it is very important to capture and preserve the remaining traces of the many ancient Mongolian traditions that have survived until now, before they get diluted into the modern world.
With its vast and beautiful landscape and its low concentration of population, Mongolia is an increasingly popular destination for tourism from all over the world.
There are also tremendous pressures from capitalism driving the country to exploit its vast natural resources, and luring an increasing number of nomads into abandoning their traditional way of life in order to experience the modern city life.

The feature film The Sky Son (Tengeriin Khuu), takes place amongst the Dukha (Tsaatan) tribe of reindeer herders, in the beautiful province near Lake Khövsgöl. It relates the extraordinary story of the son of a humble nomad family who has been chosen to become a shaman.
A Pearl in the Forest (Moilkhon) was one of the first films aimed at retracing the history of the different ethnic groups that compose Mongolia. It was also one of the first films to openly relate the events of the 1930’s and the impact of the rise of Soviet communism on Mongolia. The film was shot in the real location where the events took place, near the Buryat village of Dadal, in the Khentii province, in north-eastern Mongolia. We hope that these films will present a cultural experience that will capture the interest of audiences around the world.
